WHO IS LIL’ DUDE?
Good things come in small packages…” – and even greater things come in a “Lil’ Dude"! Born, October 1, in Detroit, Michigan, Micah Leon Brown aka “Lil’ Dude” lives, breathes & exudes the essence of "True Hip Hop"! Beginning his Hip Hop love affair at the mere age of 4, by the age of 6, Lil’ Dude was leaving audiences amazed with his high energy performances at local venues, open mic nights, special school programs, non-profit events, music festivals, benefit concerts, family events and even weddings throughout his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
With a mission to maximize his talents and take advantage of bigger & better opportunities, at age 9, Lil’ Dude and his family moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Working as a Hip Hop/ Spoken Word Artist as well as pursuing his Acting and Modeling Career, Lil’ Dude quickly became acquainted with industry professionals. From major producers to local performing artists, large scale venues and even major recording labels couldn’t deny Lil’ Dude’s extraordinary abilities!
With a variety of roles in films such as: “Mirage”, “Dirty Laundry: The Movie”, “The Justifier” and “Making Expert Barber” The DVD series; Television and Red Carpet appearances and National Voice Over Commercials for popular shows like: Cartoon Network’s “Cartoon Fridays”, “Class of 3000”, What’s Happenin’ TV, Hillshire Farms, and he has even appeared on major networks such as UPN and even BET and MTV!! Lil’ Dude has performed throughout the nation at local events, poetry slams, open mic and major festivals as far east as New York, as far south as Texas and as far north as Michigan. Lil’ Dude has shared the stage with a list of national spoken word artists, Hip Hop Legends and musical greats including the Grammy award winning Hip Hop ensemble “Arrested Development”!
Although he’s a “Lil’ Dude”, with passion in his heart and a genuine twinkle in his eyes- Lil' Dude recognizes the importance of living life to the fullest and he understands his success grows with giving back to his community, doing his best in school, and staying active as a volunteer for the Hands on Atlanta Organization. Through his community efforts, Lil’ Dude has been featured on Verb/CDC PSA, The U.S. Department of Justice PSA and appeared in a Special Edition of Scholastic Magazine Cover Story Celebrating The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.!
With an extensive roster of performances at such a young age, Lil’ Dude continues to fly forward as a professional! Working with a full team of professionals represented by the J Pervis Talent Agency, as well as working with The Company Acting Studio, YourAct/Della Cole and managed by his mother and supported by friends, family and national industry professionals; it comes to no surprise that this Lil’ Dude is making major moves!
His music and lyrics are astonishing, reaching fans of all ages! Representing a pioneering generation, Lil’ Dude is coming strong with skills larger than life! It's no wonder Lil' Dude’s been pinned as "Hip Hop's Next Generation"!!
